Google Chrome ending support for Windows XP, Vista, and Mac OS X 10.8 in April 2016

Google have announced via their Chrome Blog that they will end support for Microsoft Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Apple Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8 at the start of April 2016.

What does this mean for you?

Your browser will continue to work, however Google Chrome are going to stop providing updates and security fixes to their browser for users on older operating systems, which could leave you vulnerable to malicious content.

This means it’s probably a good time to think about updating to a supported and secure operating system.
